We Love Playing Outside

Hello guys!

I'm happy today because it's March Break!! Well, for our part of Canada (Québec). I really need this break, and it's great because I'm going to see my family in Sherbrooke ,which is like 15 minutes from Vermont. It will be the time for me to play outside and to spend more time with my friends.

Rideau Canal Skateway, it's the world largest skating ring. It's 15 minutes from my house. I'll spend some time there with my friends for sure, I'll drink hot chocolate and eat Beaver Tails (it's not real beavers...)!

I'll go skiing with my brother to Orford, it's really beautiful.

The two others pictures are just beautiful pictures from weheartit.com. For the London picture, it's because it's one of my dream to see London, and I thought this photo was really great.

P.S. Hope you all loved Angélique's post, she'll write more some time :)

The New Girl

WAZZZAH everyone .

I'm the new one, Elyse's friend. I'll be collaborating on this blog with her from now. So who am I, eh ? My name is Angélique and I'm seventeen too. You don't need to know more for now, cuz you'll learn a lot about me in my futur posts.

Um, yeah. this is me.

Soooooo, I've been following a bit what's going on in London right now and I discoverd something really interesting! HOUSE OF HOLLAND. I just totally felt in love with his Fall 2011 Ready-To-Wear collection.

Here are some of my favorites.

(see this scarf, i'm gonna have pretty much the same. My grand-mother used to do exactly the same partern, so i'm stealing a piece to do a scarf :)

La Mort Est Un Processus Rectiligne

Death is a linear process.

A year. It's been year since Alexander McQueen's death. La mort est un processus rectiligne. Death is a linear process. It's my philosophical phrase of the moment. I've read it in a book for my French class and it made me think a lot. I'm not quite sure how to interpret it, but I'm closer than two weeks ago. But the thing I know is that it's going very well with today's subject.

February 11th 2010, McQueen suicide shortly after his mother's death. I think it's the event I was most marked of since the beginning of my "career" in fashion. He was a master all his collections were insane. He was known for his creativity and his unconventional sens of fashion. His runway were always dramatic, but beautiful to watch. He was the favorite of many artists, like Lady Gaga. Let's say McQueen will always be remembered.

As I was going through the different collections to chose the pictures to illustate this post I realise it will impossible for me to chose my favorite, I tried but with such a great work I'm sure I forgot some incredible pieces.
