I'm Miss Sugar Pink...

I'm miss sugar pink liquor liquor lips
Hit me with your sweet love
Steal me with your kiss
I'm gonna be your BUBBLEGUM BITCH

Dammmmmn.
Got this song stuck in my head for the past 2 weeks, WEEKS.
When my good friend asked me to help her find music for her emminant runway (can't wait to see her collection btw) I went on a mission to find good, vibrant, lanadelreyish, and unknown music. I had a blast looking around trying to find thing that could suit her girly but edgy brand.
BUT I discovered, I'll use discover here because I knew her before but didn't really took the time to appreciate her music (and sense of style), Marina & the Diamonds. Her music truly helped me get through the rough winter days that won't go away. I actually had the chance to see her perform before Coldplay last July and she was excellent.
Anyways, I decided to check out more about her, and it seems she has a unique style, and I want to share it with you!! She has a little touch of pinup and Twiggy at the same time, love that!! So here's some of her best looks :) You also have at the end my song selection for my friend's runway :)
Enjoy the beginning of spring lovelies :))  And put a heart on your cheek ;)

Before Night Falls

Hi guys! Hope you're all doing well! November is almost over which means December is near and Christmas too! You all know how much I love this Holiday, it's my favorite by far! But before that we all have to finish this month and in my case it's the end of the semester, which means I'm overwhelmed by homework, projects, exams and lack of sleep. And now that it's getting dark at 5 pm I'm always coming home after a school day in total darkness. Hourray. So let me say that I was pretty much inspired by darkness for this post today.
Around this time of the year I seem to only dress with the same 3 sweaters I own because I'm to lazy to try to put a great outfit together. It's cold outside, but there's not enough snow to wear boots, it's frustrating. So I did an outfit for school/ Christmas shopping (!) that I truly wish I could wear today. And since I'm always coming home at like night, I put together some great songs and did a dark-night-dream-space themed playlist to help me get through the bus ride home.
I hope you'll enjoy the rest of November, and welcome December with open arms! HAVE A GREAT WEEK LOVELIES :D

Thank You London!

There's something about the Olympics that I absolutely adore. I can literally watch them on TV for hours, the limit of pathetic sometimes. But still, it's something that thrills me, that I'm excited about every two years. If you ask me it could be all year long and I wouldn't stop watching it! I think it's the time I'm the most proud of my country and where I come from. I was rooting for so many people! There was touching stories and some moments to cry for. London definitely reach my expectations. Just everything was so so so great. I loved watching it every second, and I can't wait in two years in Sochi and 4 years in Rioooo (hum hello Alessandra Ambrosio at the closing ceremony!!!)
As I'm writing this post the closing ceremony just ended and it was wonderful!! So many great artists, colors and dances. We even had a little bit of fashion with appearances of Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and other gorgeous British models. But the music...! My fave bands and artists are from the UK. The Beatles, the Who, the Rolling Stones, Coldplay, Muse, Queen and many more. Almost all of them were there in person or in video or simply with their beautiful songs. Let's talk about that John Lennon thing they did. I don't know what it was but it just one of my favorite song. It was incredible I wanted to cry. And Russel Brand with Pure Imagination, gosh, really? So so greaaaat! I'm not a fan but even One Direction were great (ahahah). There's so many things I want to say but I guess you're already bored hehe. Sooo I made a playlist of some of my favorite songs from British artists. It was so hard to choose, I could have chose at least 20 songs from the Beatles alone, but I restricted myself a bit. So I hope you'll enjoy this playlist as much as I do cause it's literally the best music in the world :)

A Very Happy Musical Saturday

Hello lovelies!!
I hope you're enjoying your Saturday! Here it announces snow today and I'm sooo scared cause I was starting to feel happy in my flip-flops and shorts and we're back to January and that's so annoying. I keep my fingers crossed so we won't get any! That's the joy of living in Canada especially in my very wonderful province. So to celebrate that amazing event of the weirdest temperature ever I made for you a little playlist of Quebec's (the wonderful province I was talking about you know) artists and groups that I like or that you should totally discover!
I even did my homework by going on 8tracks to do the playlist for you, so you only have to press play isn't that wonderful?
I hope you'll enjoy it and that I won't freak you too much cause some are weird I'm telling you.
P.S. no comments about the Celine Dion's one :)
