I'm Miss Sugar Pink...

I'm miss sugar pink liquor liquor lips
Hit me with your sweet love
Steal me with your kiss
I'm gonna be your BUBBLEGUM BITCH

Dammmmmn.
Got this song stuck in my head for the past 2 weeks, WEEKS.
When my good friend asked me to help her find music for her emminant runway (can't wait to see her collection btw) I went on a mission to find good, vibrant, lanadelreyish, and unknown music. I had a blast looking around trying to find thing that could suit her girly but edgy brand.
BUT I discovered, I'll use discover here because I knew her before but didn't really took the time to appreciate her music (and sense of style), Marina & the Diamonds. Her music truly helped me get through the rough winter days that won't go away. I actually had the chance to see her perform before Coldplay last July and she was excellent.
Anyways, I decided to check out more about her, and it seems she has a unique style, and I want to share it with you!! She has a little touch of pinup and Twiggy at the same time, love that!! So here's some of her best looks :) You also have at the end my song selection for my friend's runway :)
Enjoy the beginning of spring lovelies :))  And put a heart on your cheek ;)

Before Night Falls

Hi guys! Hope you're all doing well! November is almost over which means December is near and Christmas too! You all know how much I love this Holiday, it's my favorite by far! But before that we all have to finish this month and in my case it's the end of the semester, which means I'm overwhelmed by homework, projects, exams and lack of sleep. And now that it's getting dark at 5 pm I'm always coming home after a school day in total darkness. Hourray. So let me say that I was pretty much inspired by darkness for this post today.
Around this time of the year I seem to only dress with the same 3 sweaters I own because I'm to lazy to try to put a great outfit together. It's cold outside, but there's not enough snow to wear boots, it's frustrating. So I did an outfit for school/ Christmas shopping (!) that I truly wish I could wear today. And since I'm always coming home at like night, I put together some great songs and did a dark-night-dream-space themed playlist to help me get through the bus ride home.
I hope you'll enjoy the rest of November, and welcome December with open arms! HAVE A GREAT WEEK LOVELIES :D

Trick Or Treat

Hi spooky creatures of the underworld!!
Halloween is so close and I'm thrilled (listening to Thriller while writing this yeah)! I know sometimes it's hard to find a great costume but I firmly think you don't always have to have a good one as long as your costumed. My butterfly/fairy/hippie kind of costume wasn't very cool or original but having so many glitters on my face made the whole thing okay ahah.
I had a party at my place last Saturday night for both Halloween and my birthday that was last Thursday (I turned 19 bloody hell!!) and it was super fun. Everybody got dressed up and we danced, laughed and did our own kind of  "photo booth" where we used other accessories to take pictures. It was honestly the best part. I think everybody enjoyed it, even if all my friends are going to kill me cause I put the pictures on my blog. Oups. Among my very creative friend you could find a cowboy, many pirates, a pin up, a very attractive spider man ahah and many more.
My tops of the night: Gagnam style PSY and The Marvellous Grape! Little note to Clark Kent too!
So whether you're a princess or Honey Boo Boo child, just rock it and have fun :)
So trick and treat my friends :)
Happy Halloween!!!!!!! :D

p.s. Hope you're all safe even with that Frenkenstorm!!!

Oh God I look retarded but I love so much this picture and my hippie glasses!
Clark Kent and PSY
The "Take a bite I'm Juicy" super cool Grape :)

Enjoy this Halloween mix made by Rookie Mag on 8tracks, it brings the spirit!

But Mama I'm Only a Child!

Well good night everyone!!
I hope you're having a wonderful weekend so far :) I've been quite sick this week which sucks! But now I'm better!! School is going at full spin right now, but I wanted to do this post for a long time so I needed time like a Saturday night!
I wanted to share with you my Fall must havesssss, cause there's a lot of them. Those are things for my casual days. When it rains, on cosy nights, rainy mornings, or just my pleasure! After putting them together I realised they were kind of childish, with the colors and all so I did a playlist of songs that remind me of children, or my childhood. Some make me wish I was a child again, some are just classics. I had trouble with my computer again (I know it's getting real bad) so I didn't put all the songs I wanted.
I wish you a wonderful week lovelies! And thanks to all the new followers, it means a lot guys!! :)

It's Only the Start

What'ssss up!!
I hope you had a great summer, cause of course it's now over! :( It's time for us to get out our pencils and binders, to be ready for homework and exams... But school isn't only that. It's time for friends, love and life. I use to think that High School was useless, that my life would only start in college and stuff, but I found myself really enjoying those wonderful years.
The other thing I love about going back to school, it's the shopping! New clothes in my wardrobe, it smells like new and it makes me smile!
So I did on Polyvore (I know it's been a long tiiime) a back-to-school outfit. When I think beginning of school I think fall, so I had to add a sweater and boots. I contained myself from putting mittens ahah. In the next days, I'll probably do new outfits on polyvore and I'll share them with you!

Thank You London!

There's something about the Olympics that I absolutely adore. I can literally watch them on TV for hours, the limit of pathetic sometimes. But still, it's something that thrills me, that I'm excited about every two years. If you ask me it could be all year long and I wouldn't stop watching it! I think it's the time I'm the most proud of my country and where I come from. I was rooting for so many people! There was touching stories and some moments to cry for. London definitely reach my expectations. Just everything was so so so great. I loved watching it every second, and I can't wait in two years in Sochi and 4 years in Rioooo (hum hello Alessandra Ambrosio at the closing ceremony!!!)
As I'm writing this post the closing ceremony just ended and it was wonderful!! So many great artists, colors and dances. We even had a little bit of fashion with appearances of Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and other gorgeous British models. But the music...! My fave bands and artists are from the UK. The Beatles, the Who, the Rolling Stones, Coldplay, Muse, Queen and many more. Almost all of them were there in person or in video or simply with their beautiful songs. Let's talk about that John Lennon thing they did. I don't know what it was but it just one of my favorite song. It was incredible I wanted to cry. And Russel Brand with Pure Imagination, gosh, really? So so greaaaat! I'm not a fan but even One Direction were great (ahahah). There's so many things I want to say but I guess you're already bored hehe. Sooo I made a playlist of some of my favorite songs from British artists. It was so hard to choose, I could have chose at least 20 songs from the Beatles alone, but I restricted myself a bit. So I hope you'll enjoy this playlist as much as I do cause it's literally the best music in the world :)

UK's Beat
My Generation - The Who
Help! - The Beatles
Every Teardrop is a Waterfall - Coldplay
Hey Jude - The Beatles
Imagine - John Lennon¸
You Can't Always Get What You Want - The Rolling Stones
Rolling In The Deep - Adele
Your Song - Elton John
Space Oddity - David Bowie
Bohemian Raphsody - Queen
Back to Black - Amy Winehouse
I Belong to You / Mon Coeur S'ouvre à Ta Voix - Muse
Viva la Vida - Coldplay
Fix You - Coldplay
In My Life - The Beatles
Say You'll Be There - The Spice Girls

A Very Happy Musical Saturday

Hello lovelies!!
I hope you're enjoying your Saturday! Here it announces snow today and I'm sooo scared cause I was starting to feel happy in my flip-flops and shorts and we're back to January and that's so annoying. I keep my fingers crossed so we won't get any! That's the joy of living in Canada especially in my very wonderful province. So to celebrate that amazing event of the weirdest temperature ever I made for you a little playlist of Quebec's (the wonderful province I was talking about you know) artists and groups that I like or that you should totally discover!
I even did my homework by going on 8tracks to do the playlist for you, so you only have to press play isn't that wonderful?
I hope you'll enjoy it and that I won't freak you too much cause some are weird I'm telling you.
P.S. no comments about the Celine Dion's one :)

Vday Stuff

Hi lovely readers!
Sorry for being anywhere else than here, I went back to school and it was not easy let me tell you!
Enough with the apologies, let's talk about what's coming next week: the big red, pink, heart-shaped and fluffy thing called Valentine's Day!
I know that for you single girls or guys like me it may seem like an occasion for shops to just do money on our backs because poeple buy things that will never be used (oh yeah I'm talking about you Teddy bear number 24), but anyways I kind of like the overwhelming vibe coming from all the lovers, and let's be honest it's the perfect occasion to watch bad romance movies or listen to cheesy love songs and that's where I'm going to help you lonely heart! I made a selection of movies that you can watch alone and cry, but still they are GOOD. PLUS I picked some love songs that are not cheesy (most of them.. I had to make exceptions. Sorry) and that you may be would like to listen all-year long, win! PLUS I went on fabulous style.com and went through the Couture collections for spring, amazingness is the right word I think (is that even a word?), I picked the best rouge et rose dresses or the fluffly and romantic ones so you can have a look!
I hope you'll enjoy those Valentine's Day choices and if you have any suggestions, I totally want to hear, I do have to find something to do after all ;)

Movies-to-cry-on-while-listening
West Side Story. Classic you guys.
The Notebook. (I know, don't even say it)
A Walk in The Cloud. Beautiful to watch and not only for the guy.
Moulin Rouge. Everytime I watch this movie I cry like a baby. (If you, like me, love musicals you have to see it, believe me.)
When Harry Met Sally. YES
Pretty Woman. A MUST SEE
Just Friends. So freaking funny (P.S. it happens in Christmas... Still it's very good)
There's Something More About Mary. Gotta love Cameron Diaz.
Cyrano de Bergerac. It's in French, based from the book. One of the greatest love story ever written. Rent it watch it in French with the subtitles you want to hear Depardieu's voice.

Not-all-love-songs-have-to-be-cheesy
Because You Loved Me. Celine Dion is from Quebec, where I live so I have to put a song from her even if it's so cheesy.
Tonight. West Side Story is a classic I told you, this is the most romantic song.
Love Me Tender. One word: Elvis. Enough said.
Your Song. Elton John can write me a song whenever he wants.
Total Eclipse of the Heart. Cheesy I know. (by Bonnie Tyler)
Silly Love Songs. Wings said it all in the title. Still a love song though.
Happy Together. Good stuff believe me. (by The Turtles)
Endless Love. ULTIMATE CHEESY thanks to Diana Ross & Lionel Richie.
Wouldn't It Be Nice. I loooooove The Beach Boys!
Wonderwall. Someone told me that she will have her first dance at her wedding on Oasis, why not?
Hey There Delilah. Thank you Plain White T's.
And I Love Her & Something. The Beatles, gosh thank you for this wonderful music.

Alexis Mabille, vibrant colors all the way, love the big flower!
Christian Dior, always a favorite, this collection blew me away..

Elie Saab. Gosh. Gorgeous?? YESSSS the whole collection was remarkable and would have deserve a place on the fluffly and pretty for Valentine's Day, but I had to choose.

Elie Saab made a big statement with this final gown. Talk about a royal wedding on Valentine's Dress? That's the one for sure. I would totally get married in the one.
Va-Va-Voom at Versace and a little more girly at Valentino.
I LOVE THE SUN AND I LOVE YOU READERS OF MY HEART
