The Story of a Girl Who Went Back to School

Hello!!!!!!
I know I know I know it's been more then a month since I wrote anything here! The strike at our school is over and I have so many things to do it's been crazy! Try doing 9 weeks in 5, it's insane. I wish I could have take 5 minutes to say hi but I didn't want to post something boring.I have as I'm writing this, only 6 days left but so many things to do!
While I was at school, trying to stay alive ahah, summer came, yeah. I didn't even post anything about summer's fashion I'm so sad. That's why I'm presenting to you one of my favorite resort collection. Stella McCartney did a wonderful job. The prints are perfect, she does know how to make it work. And then there were those pictures of her carnival and I thought I need to post it! So you have the Carnival pictures and some of the collection!
I will try to keep in touch with all of you cause it's one of the things I love about blogging, it's having interactions with people that are as passionnate about fashion than I am!
Have a great week, I'll see ya after school!! :)
P.S. more Resort collections to come!

Anne Hathaway, you hear about the Devil Wears Prada second book? I hope they'll do a movie too!!

What The Strike Actually Taught Me

Hello guys I hope you're enjoying your week so far!! Today is quite a special post, out of the fashion world (well I'll try hehe)! You know that a few weeks ago my school went on strike against the raising of the tuitions fees like many other. It's been quite a thing. Thousands of students (180 000 I think), teachers and other supporters went in the street and strike like hell. Load of violence was involve and it's still a dead-end. So some students at my school that wanted to go back (let's say we're on strike since the 12th of March) follow the lead of other schools and issued an injunction. It's been two days and classes have been cancelled. I think it sends a message but it's confused... But this being said this strike taught some things and this is my list!!

I did a playlist with 8tracks of songs of revolution (some are in French) and I added a couple of pictures of what's going on!!!

 THE STRIKE LIST
1. Red goes with EVERYTHING.
2. People can be really creative with their signs, songs, costumes and everything. I've seen craaaaazy stuff.
3. Not going to school made me do very productive things, like watch the first 2 seasons of Gossip Girl and like 20 movies.
4. The rest of the planet can now spot Quebec and Montreal on a map. At least I think...

5. Manifest during rain = big bad cold.
6. Voice dubbing on Harry Potter about the strike is so freaking funny.
7. Strike improves your social life but screw your hours of sleep. Badly.
8. The government AND the students are BOTH so stubborn.
9. Twitter can ACTUALLY be usefull.
10. 8tracks is soooooo much fun!
11. Doing songs about the strike is definitetly a social suicide.
12. Violence does not solve all the problems.
13. After almost 2 months you don't remember a thing about your classes, and that's why I'll probably fail.
14. There's great music about revolution. (It's worth the playlist below.)
15. I'm proud to be apart of such a grandiose thing. I love where I live and even if I don't always agree with both opinions I think it's wonderful to see people fighting for a good thing. Something that can make a better world.

Seeing red, WTF tuition fees raise, red with our association (CLASSE) leader, unknown, the big head of our PM, unknown, the big walk where 250 000 people went.

I hope you enjoy this not fashionable post!! Listen to the playlist!!
I WANT TO HAVE FEEDBACK :)

A Very Happy Musical Saturday

Hello lovelies!!
I hope you're enjoying your Saturday! Here it announces snow today and I'm sooo scared cause I was starting to feel happy in my flip-flops and shorts and we're back to January and that's so annoying. I keep my fingers crossed so we won't get any! That's the joy of living in Canada especially in my very wonderful province. So to celebrate that amazing event of the weirdest temperature ever I made for you a little playlist of Quebec's (the wonderful province I was talking about you know) artists and groups that I like or that you should totally discover!
I even did my homework by going on 8tracks to do the playlist for you, so you only have to press play isn't that wonderful?
I hope you'll enjoy it and that I won't freak you too much cause some are weird I'm telling you.
P.S. no comments about the Celine Dion's one :)

The Power Of The Brothers

Well hello hello!!
Seems like ages since I wrote anything here!
I've been busy more than I thought I would even with the strike, well that's life!
I have a lot of lovely events that are coming in April and I'm really excited about them, I'll try to put some pictures here when the time comes.
But right now Spring is here and it's very rainy as it's suppose to so I'm not complaining cause it means sun is very close and that's the best thing I can ask for! When Spring usually comes everybody clean everything like mad people, which I can't seem to find the strength to do, even with my clothes! I wish I could by a lot of new things from designers I love but I can't (where all those wonderful bloggers find all the money? That's a mystery if you ask me ahah). So I found the perfect thing : Dsquared2. The Canadian twins had the answer for me.. I wanted something different that I can take tips from and add something different to my style for spring, and the grunge, hippy, rock and roll looks that they presented seem all indicated for me! I absolutely love Dan and Dean's collection I think it's different and very creative. All the styles are well mixed from the leather jacket, to the fluffly skirt, with a pair of neon sunglasses, to the US scarf, I mean I have a looooooot of ideas!
I know it's not the usual collections I present but it so so so so cool and I could't resist! :)
I hope you're enjoying everything that's happening in your life, but sometimes shaking things up is a really good thing!
Have a wonderful day, looooove you :)

P.S after those pictures I kind of want an Heineken, don't you? :)

The jacket, the boots, the hat, the socks, the top, everythings is so great, wow.

I feel in love with that bathing suit it's amazing!

Anais Pouliot a Canadian model from Quebec, I love her, check her out :)

 I love male models ahah
 Perfect. Enough said.
Dan and Dean presenting their Spring 2012 rtw collection, thumbs uuuuuuuup!
